D.W. Laney, Jr, M.D.

Dr. Laney received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine (UAB). He completed pediatric residency at Vanderbilt University Hospital and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati. In 1994, Dr. Laney accepted an appointment from UAB and Children’s Hospital of Alabama to establish a pediatric gastroenterology practice in Huntsville. Dr. McClellan joined him in practice in 2002 and together they established Pediatric Gastroenterology Associates, P.C, in 2003. When not at the office, Dr. Laney enjoys working in his garden, reading, and traveling with his wife and children.

 

R.D. McClellan, M.D.

After receiving his undergraduate degree from Birmingham Southern University and his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine (UAB), Dr. McClellan went to the University of Florida for his post-doctoral training. He completed pediatric residency at Shands Children’s Hospital. His fellowship training was also at Shands. Dr. McClellan has been in practice in Huntsvile since 2002 and is a founding partner of Pediatric Gastroenterology Associates, P.C. He and his wife and children are active in many local activities and noisily root for the Florida Gators.
